Athlone Photography Club was formed in the summer of 2013

The club meets every second Wednesday at 7.30 pm (unless otherwise stated) at the Abbey Road Studio in the heart of Athlone. Absolute beginners and more experienced photo enthusiasts welcome – the only requirement being an interest in photography and respect for fellow members.

In addition to running a beginners course every year, the club and its members also compete in national competitions as an affiliated member of the Irish Photography Federation.
