Autumn in Birr, by Prachi Chitnis (a past Challenge entry)
Every quarter, the APC committee encourages its members to submit 3 of their photos, taken in the last 3 month, which are then judged by an external Advanced Photographer. In this quarter, Emmanuelle Galisson, LIPF, AIPF, member of the Portlaoise Camera Club (https://portlaoisecameraclub.weebly.com/) will go through each of them and explain what she liked and what could be improved.
Beyond the academic score (out of 20) provided, such feedback from an external specialist is invaluable for the club’s members. Often, a good photo can become a great photo, with very little advice and editing (cropping, sharpening, dodging and burning). This is the main purpose of the exercise.
After the critique which usually lasts around 60 min, Emmanuelle will show some of her own photos.
