Conor Henry is a talented young nature photographer and dedicated birder from the Athlone area. Over long hours spent observing wildlife and the natural world, they have honed their photographic skills, producing striking images of birds and other aspects of Irish nature that capture both beauty and behaviour with clarity and sensitivity. Conor’s work, shared widely on their Instagram page (@conorhenry64_photography), reflects not only strong technical ability but also a deep respect for and understanding of the wild subjects they photograph.

Conor is an active member of the birding community and regularly shares observations and images from Athlone and beyond. We are delighted to welcome Conor to St. Mary’s Hall on Wednesday 17 December at 8pm, where they will speak about their approach to nature photography, the importance of patience and observation in the field, and the stories behind some of their favourite images
